What goes on your Facebook Page

Simple and specific, usually your business name. Facebook doesn't allow slogans, all capitals (except acronyms), symbols like ®, or the word "official" unless it's the official Page.

Be specific (for example "Italian restaurant", not "Restaurant").

A short description of your business. Not sure what to write? Just jot down the basics in your own words. I'll turn it into a polished, professional version, and you review and approve it before anything goes live.

Don't have a website? Let us build one for you for free! You only pay a monthly fee if you decide to keep it live.

Only if customers can visit you. Leave blank if you don't want an address on the Page.

Does a Facebook Page already exist for your business?
If it exists, do you have Facebook access with full control of it? (recommended)

Only someone with full control can give other people access.

How access works (no passwords):

  • You keep full control of your Page. If I create a new Page, I'll make sure you're given full control.
  • You add PorchLoom's Facebook account in your Page settings (Page setup → Page access → Add New) by name or email, then choose the access level. Facebook asks you to confirm with your own password inside Facebook; you never give it to me.
  • Partial control or task access is enough for posts and messages. Meta lists editing Page information under full control, so I'll tell you which level the job needs before you grant it.
  • Never send me your password. This form doesn't ask for it.
